Burned bridge to be removed
Girard, PA, November 11, 2008 - With a bowed deck, the roof in danger of collapse, loose timbers on the sides and scattered nails, the structure on Gudgeonville Road isn't safe, said Girard Township Supervisor Bill Felege.

Felege, the township's emergency management coordinator, said he believes the wood skeleton and deck must be removed for safety reasons, pending an engineer's evaluation.
